Fire at Smugglers Cove

On our 5th morning we awoke to the news of the Main Kitchen at Smuggler Cove, St Lucia had burnt to the ground in only 45mins!
By all accounts the cause was due to a faulty cooker. However there were all sort of rumours flying around - to their credit, management and staff responded quickly to relocate guests to alternative areas for meals.
As a consequence the knock on effect is continuing to impact on our holiday, power cuts, breakfast and dinner consistantly late when you arrive at the start of the morning or evening. However we take the view this unfortunate accident just adds to the drama of our holiday.
