After months of anticipation we finally landed in St Lucia. Although, I would love to reveal a story of blissful happiness - on arrival this sadly was not the case!
After an 8-hour flight from London we spent 1and a half hours in the immigration queue, thereafter spending a further hour waiting for our transfer to arrive. Eventually we decided that getting a cold shower and beer was much more important than hanging around waiting for a car that obviously not going to arrive.
Smugglers Cove, in the north of the island is a huge complex in the plush Cap Estate,on arrival we were greeted with a much needed fruit and rum punches. The staff were friendly, attentive with a desire to please. Tomorrow we intend to just enrol the kids in the Kids Club and just chill by the pool side.
Tomorrow I will update you on our initial feedback thus far.
