About us

The idea of Caribbeanbug was first conceived in the winter months of 2008. CB was launched in May 2008 and then retired by the end of that summer. Why? It was the year I got married. With so much to organise and put place before the big day I felt quite overwhelmed starting a new web-business. Every year since CB retirement a little voice in my head kept saying “I will do it this year”.

Almost to the actual day, five years later CB is back online and back to stay. During those years we have carried some extensive travel throughout the Caribbean, encountering some wonderful experiences and making new friends along the way. The  primarily focus of CB is traveller reviews. So if you have been to any part of the Caribbean and stayed in some form of accommodation, dined in a restaurant or a bar. We would like to hear from you.

The whole idea is to share your experience with others whilst we  build a community that has the Caribbean BUG!
